Blue Milk Productions is a film company set up by and for Ian McCamey, aka “IMAC”, aka “Old Man McCamey”, aka “MCI”.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ian has been involved in post production for over ten years. In that time he climbed the editorial ladder from being an apprentice during the formative years of the AVID in the mid 90’s to becoming an editor, VFX editor, post-production supervisor, and now a director. Along the way he has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from children’s television (“Bill Nye The Science Guy”) to national commercials, music videos, feature visual effects, and full CG content at such reputable production companies as Industrial Light + Magic, Wild Brain, and The Orphanage. Some of his credits include: “Iron Man”, “Star Wars: Episode I”, “Magnolia”, “Sin City”, “Hero”, and others.

In 2004, Imac made his directing debut with “Child Psychology”, a 14 minute short film that was highly successful on the festival circuit. The film screened at over 10 festivals across the U.S. and received an Honorable Mention for Best Comedy Short at the 2005 DIYFest (Do It Yourself Festival) in Los Angeles. In addition, his original screenplay, “Me and Sammy”, received an honorable mention at the 2004 Hypefest Screenplay Competition. (Anyone with contacts to Sammy Hagar is highly encouraged to get in touch with Imac.)

As a director, he shows a flare for unique visuals and a strong storytelling sensibility. His work comprises a diverse mix of visual metaphor, spatial and temporal paradoxes, and playfully irreverent comedy.

Prior to his work in the film industry, Ian was formerly known as MCI, a seattle based producer and rapper with the hip-hop group, “ABR”.http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0564794/Child_Pychology_Synopsis.htmlmailto:info@bluemilkprod.com?subject=Sammy%20Hagar%20info%20for%20Imacshapeimage_3_link_0shapeimage_3_link_1shapeimage_3_link_2
